Symphony Holdings Acquisition of Kogen and J-First Reported

To finally confirm the pretty strong rumour that the Kogen and J-First Hotels had sold, it was reported last week that Symphony Holdings, a London listed investment company, was behind the deal. Anil Thadani, the Chairman of Symphony's investment manager, was quoted as saying: "Niseko is an attractive and increasingly popular resort destination with convenient flight connections to most Asian capital cities. It offers a variety of year round outdoor activities and already boasts superb food and apr├Ęs-ski entertainment. With the growing affluence in Asia and the changing lifestyles of the younger set, we see demand for properties in locations such as Niseko only increasing in the coming years."
This is good news for this year and now we are eagerly awaiting new about what exactly will be built on the superb ski in ski out location.
